QuestionI used this blower the other day. It started normally and ran fine for about
half an hour. When I went to stop it it quit just before the throttle level got to
the off position. It was not out of gas. The gas is about three weeks old and
of the proper mix. I've tried the flooded engine start, warm start and cold
start procedures. I have changed spark plug and have a spark. The fuel filter
is clean. The carp-purge and tank/purge lines seem to be fine. I have not
checked compression. In July of 04 Sears repaired this blower because it
would not start. They just about rebuilt it. Cylinder kit, piston kit,carb assy
kit, fuel assy. It has run fine until the other day. Any idea of problem?

Is the Exhaust Port and Muffler Free of Blockage? Is the Spark Arrestor Screen Clear and Not Clogged? Can you Spray Starter Fluid into the Carburetor Throat and Get it to Run and Quit? Check the Compression, Please. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.
