Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Rear tire stuck on axle, rear tires, sand paper

Question
1996 Murray hydrostatic 42 inch mower has one (left) of its rear tires that loses air.  I have tried to remove it from the axle to fix, but have failed to do so.  The right rear came right off.  What do I need to do to get the tire (and rim) off the axle?

Answer
 Hello Bud:

This is Common Problem. You need to Spray the Axle and Rim where the Slide Together with PB Rust Catalyst and Allow it to Penetrate the Rust. You May have to Remove the Tire from the Rim and Use Heat on the Rim at the Axle to Loosen it from the Axle. Once have Removed the Rim from the Axle; Sand the Axle and Inside the Mating Area with Emory Cloth or 440 Sand Paper and Coat the Axle and Rim with Never Seize. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
