Hello Can you tell me the resistence test for a good or bad coil for briggs engines? The ones with pionts and without

 Hello Ken:

 I have Never Used the Resistance Test on Small Engine Coils. If the Magnet on the Flywheel is Good, When the Magnet Passes the Coil, the Coil will Fire if it is Good. To Test the Coil, Disconnect the Shutoff Wire from the Coil and Turn the Engine to Check for Fire. If the Coil is Good it will Fire. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
