Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): proper length drive belt from engine to xmission on old montgy. ward riding mower, mtd, montgomery ward

Question
I have an old Montgomery Ward riding mower MODEL:
TMO 33886B J282C that needs a new drive belt from the engine to the xmission.I was told that it was an
85" long belt by comparison to the old belt, but it was not long enough. Can you possibly tell me the proper belt length & name of a dealer where I can buy a belt? Also is there a place where I might be able to get an owners manual for this mower?
Any inf will be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Answer
 Hello C.E.:

Have you tried http://willardssmallengines.com/parts-inquiry.html This Company has Most of the Belts and the Cross References Required to Match your Mower. The Montergomery Wards Mowers were Mostly Made by MTD. You can go to this Addy http://support.mtdproducts.com/cgi-bin/mtd.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php?p_sid=PcLZ35c... and Fill out the Form to Ask MTD about getting Manuals and the Proper Length of the Belt Required for your Mower. I have been told they May have the Manual you are Looking for also. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
