Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper Mower Model 331313BE, snapper mower, tank lines

Question
I just rebuilt the transmission and mower worked fine first time I mowed yard. The second time about half way through the yard mowing engine began running rough and quit. I was able to restart but every time I let out on Cluth/break pedal engine would begin running rough and quit. I drained gas and put new gas in but still have same problem?

Answer
 Hello Pat:

It Sounds like the Carb has Picked up Trash/Water. If the Engine is Running Fine without a Load but Runs Rough and Quits when a Load is Applied, then the Carb is Starving the Engine of Gas. Clean the Tank, Lines and Gas Filter (if any) and Ensure that Gas is Getting to the Carburator. If Gas is Getting to the Carburator, then Clean and Overhaul the Carb. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
