Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): no spark on a briggs & stratton 5hp engine, briggs stratton engine, briggs stratton

On a Craftsman tiller about 15 yrs old with a 5hp Briggs & Stratton engine, not getting any spark.  Checked the magnet part of flywheel and the magneto and cleaned everything.  Magnet is strong.  Checked the shut-off mechanism (grounding out the spark) and it is working properly.  Checked the key for the flywheel to the crankshaft and it is set right.  I lay the spark plug wire on the block, pull the rope and no spark.  I tried a different magneto and no spark.  The unit worked when I put it away last fall.
Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

 Hello Mike:

 You say 15yrs Old. Thats when they were Changing from the Points and Condensor to Coil Pak. If this has Points, Replace them. If its the Coil Pak, then Replace the Coil. Also if the Coil is Slotted for Mounting, it is Set at .020.  Hope this Helps.
