Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): CARB, tecumshe, wet behind the ears

ON tecumshe 5 to 8 hp carb l have a problem can't keep it idliing .no gas seems like.Took torch tip cleaner and did all holes to size.new needle and spring,floats okay 1 1/2 to 2 turns out, and she just dies after pouring gas in carb have two engines the same what have l missed.primer same pump gas comes up runs and dies .check fuel lines ,there okay.What have l missed stumpped.

PS   Cleaned float bowl and all that stuff is there a jet clogged that l missed or something stuck ?HM 100 8 hp.lt DRives me up the kazoo,lol

Do the same as you but not as long,still wet behind the ears on this.

DON, SOMETHING MUST BE PLUGGED INSIDE THE CARB WHERE YA CAN'T SEE.  A PASSAGEWAY FOR THE FUEL MAYBE A PIN HOLE IN A GASKET BUT SOMETHING IS LEAKING.  YOU ARE PROBABLY GONNA HAVE TO TAKE THE CARB COMPLETELY DOWN AND SOAK IN SOME CARB WASH AND REPLACE EVERY GASKET TO FIND IT.
