QuestionI am in the process of disassembling the steering column on my 97 f150 to replace the bearings. I have hit a stumbling block in behind the ignition lock cylinder. There is a green plastic gear retainer that I cannot seam to remove. Is there any tricks to removing it?

Yes, very simply, use a right angle pick and pop it out. It only snaps in place. Nothing special about it other than the position it's in.
