Questioni have the same issue with my 02 buick regal the turn signal kills the car. shuts off the ignition. when i turn the key to on the ignition flashes on and off until i turn on the turn signal which kills the ignition. i seen you helped someone else with the same issue. i was just wondering what was the outcome of his?

Hi Kurt:
Sorry about your troubles. Please understand diagnosing electrical problems over the web is practically impossible, unless they are common problems, so bear with me.
Your statements seem to contradict each other, but I will try and address the issue you have.
1st make sure the battery is fully charged
2nd make sure you have good ground connection from the battery to the engine and from the battery to the body (typically the fender)
If those are all confirmed good, then you can may want to disconnect the turn signal portion of the multi-functon switch bulk connector. the reconnect the ignition portion of that bulk connector and try to start your car. If it succeeds, then you need a multifunction switch (about a $320 part). If it still does not work properly then you have deeper issues that are beyond my expertise.
