QuestionYes, Douglas my car is a 1977 Chevy Caprice Classic 4 door sedan. My problem is I need to replace the steering column that's a tilt column for this car. My question is what other years of Chevy cars steering columns are compatible to install in my car. Needed also to know if Chevy trucks steering columns can fit this car if so what years.

My 1st question is "Why do you need to replace the steering column?" Most everything inside is repairable and/or replaceable.
If you do, the only vehicles comparable with that design column are the 1977 Buick LeSabre, 1977 Olds 88 or 1977 Pontiac Bonneville. No other years or models will fit.

They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. Although the videos are for a Chevrolet truck, the column is very similar to yours.
