Steering Column Repair: 88 s-10 4x4 auto tilt steering nss, turn signal switch, steering wheel lock


Question
Ok so I just replaced the ign. switch yesterday for I was having difficuilty starting my truck. I have since still had problems and researched it online. Seems to be the NSS. Got a new one todayand have started replacement. Thus far I have removed everything up to the ign. switch (steering wheel, lock plate, turn signal switch, etc) and have stoped their and chance of a pic or video of whats next? and how do I set the NSS.

I'm sorry to say, the neutral safety switch is mounted on the tube of the column where the column meets the firewall.  You do not need to remove anything inside the column to replace this switch...it's external.
Regarding the internal components, we have recently uploaded some videos on our company website to give you first hand viewing of how to remove, disassemble, and reassemble the tilt column you are talking about. They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. Although the videos are for a newer Chevrolet truck, the column is very similar to yours.  As I don't know what you're trying to get to inside the column though, it's hard to help you.  I'm not sure what you mean when you say you're "having difficulty starting your truck".
