Answer
Hi,

You did not state as to if the lower shift bowl shroud was for a tilt or non-tilt. You also need to know that the complete steering column must be disassembled inorder to chage this component if in fact you are referring to thelower shift bowl shroud. If this is not what you are refering to I need to know that as well. Part numbers don't mean a lot to me, because I never did the ordering of parts.
If you are referring to the lower bowl shroud, I might still have one somewhere. I would have to look. If so, it would be for a tilt column.
On the tilt columns with a transmission selector on the steering column, the shrouds were pretty much interchangable from cars to trucks. Commonly though, thelength of the shroud would be different which would change the part number. On cars the shroud was not sold seperately and the lower bowl with shroud were considered an assembly.
The lower shift bowl shroud on the Chevy truck is longer than all the rest.
My first suggestion would be to obtain a used steering column from a salvage yard and disassemble that for the needed components. This would probably be the most cost effective way to go about it.
The column in your truck should be the same as 1973-1980 and if you want to use the lower shift bowl/shroud assembly you can go as far as 1987.
You can get a used column for as little as $50 and you get all sorts of extra parts.
In the event that you go this route contact me a robo14@aol.com and I will tell you how to remove the shift bowl and replace it with the other.
