Subaru Repair: 1998 legacy outback 2.5 shakes, Subaru Expert

Question
its a 98 legacy ob wagon 2.5 193k miles. lot of motor work recently done. (timing belt oil pump heads + gaskets and lower end inspected and very clean.) it ran fine for 2000 miles until i changed the plugs. i put bosch platinum and it was shaking a little. changed to ngk and same thing . i put bosch platinum+4 and it got a little better. then i changed the wires (cheap pep boys wires)and it seemed worse. i got a set of wires from the dealer today and it still shakes at idle or low speeds. kind of hesitates. also did a fuel injection cleaning and throttle body cleaning. no check engine light and i even scanned it just in case. no codes. im lost. sorry to ramble on just want to make sure i give all the info.

Michael,

Bosch platinum is a bad choice for the Subaru, stick to the NGK platinum the car came with.

Since it was fine until you started changing the plugs, you should start with unwinding your repairs. Its also possible that you bumped a vacuum line off changing your plugs.

There isn't much else I can tell you as there are many many possibilities.  It sounds like if you cant find it your self you really should seek out some help locally there is just a limit to what I can guide you through over the net.
