where is the starter located and how do you replace it on a 98 suzuki esteem?

You need a service manual to give you the kind of information I don't have.  Were it one of the samurai/sidekick/tracker lines, I could help, but my expertise does not extend to two-wheel drive sedans.  Sorry, I've never even so much as lifted the hood on one.
