Towing Issues: lost vehicle i think, storage fees, call the police

a friend was arrested today and was driving the vehicle that i am currently selling to him he does not have the title yet i do but he does have the bill of sale.(i told him not to drive it till he had the title and insurance and registration)the vehicle was not in an accident just pulled over and arrested. how can i find the vehicle and retrieve it out of impound which is where i am sure it is

If you know what city, county or state he was arrested in call the police department as to the where abouts of the vehicle. A police and tow report will be on file for which tow company towed the vehicle if he was driving the car. If you still have the title and he didn't fill out the buyer's section on the title, then you still own and are responsible for the vehicle. A bill of sale is only valid ,in most states, if the title is completely filled out by the buyer and seller. Go claim the vehicle. Towing and storage fees will apply.
