Towing Issues: towed because of registration, rigger, paperwork

my car with CA plates & expired registration was towed and impounded in NY. I don't have the money to pay for the NY registration I think it would be better to get the CA & then in 30 days do all the rigger a roll for NY what to do??

I really have no answer for this one, as it appears that  you are living in NY and I know they have laws regarding inspections, and all that...

It would seem that you are now a resident of NY and that would most likely be the issue there when you attempt to register the vehicle in California (in addition you might have to go to California to do the paperwork and such)


I would just try to do what is required for New York and not have to pay the fees twice in a short period of time.
