Towing Issues: driveway blocking laws, concrete slab, diego spring

Question
how far does a car have to be in your driveway to have it towed? we don't have a curb or sidewalk, but our driveway is a concrete slab that is very obvious. we live in an unincorporated area in san diego.(spring valley) thank you.

Answer
well there can be several issues here as to what defines a "blocked driveway"

Is it 1 inch into your driveway, 1 foot ?

Is the road 2 lanes and only 20 feet wide or 2 lanes and 30 feet wide...
Is the driveway 8 feet or 10 or more feet wide..

All of these would play into the answer as a wide roadway and a wide driveway would be easy to get into if a car was just barely blocking it...

But a l lane road and a small driveway any part would make it hard to get into and make it be a "blocked driveway"

Add in the "interpretation of the law enforcement agency" who would respond and have it towed (since its on the roadway to start with) and you have another issue.

Was the vehicle literally parked in you driveway adds in another issue. And then there are "shared driveways" which open up a huge can of worms...

I wish I could provide a better answer, but way to many things I do not know or can not see for this answer to be "specific"
