do i need a special lisence or certifacaton to buy a repo truck and start towing vehicles in utah?

I am sorry it took so long to answer this question, but I had another computer melt down.. Just got it out of the shop and now have to get all my information back....


Utah a few years ago revamped its regulation of tow trucks and as such had added a lot of additional requirements including training of drivers and additional truck requirements...

But there is a big difference between towing vehicles commercially (Breakdowns and accidents) verses repossessing vehicles... Different rules and all that...

You really need to define the area which  you will be operating as it makes a big difference..
