Towing Issues: Vehicle towed from a Service Garage, verbal agreement, garage owner

Boise, Idaho. Verbal Agreement made with a garage to bring in Title (broken down pickup, no work ever done) and transfer to the garage owner. Before Title was brought in, Garage had vehicle towed. Approximately 2 weeks after verbal agreement Garage left a message on an answering machine saying they needed the Title. 3 weeks later it was towed. Is there a Time Frame before the garage would/should be able to have it towed?

I really can not answer this as I was not there and privy to the "verbal agreement" between you and the repair shop owner.

Now from what is listed in your question it appears that 5 weeks passed before it was towed... I would be interested in hearing you idea on how long is "enough" to bring in the title to the vehicle.

But generally an "abandoned vehicle" is any vehicle between 24 hours and 96 hours as defined by state law, it appears Idaho has it at 24 hours.
