Towing Issues: Cant find my car, tow truck drivers, chop shops

I live in Sacramento Ca,95814 when a car is towed off a freeway off ramp (from running out of gas)Were do i go to find it?

Ah I have no real answers to where your car is...
Check with CHP, Sacramento Police and the county sheriff...

If one of them towed it then there is a record. Now if someone else towed it then it most likely is not legal and might of been stolen... (yes there are dishonest tow truck drivers(and I use that term loosely) who find abandoned vehicles and take them to either chop shops or junk yards...

Other than that I can not really answer this question... I hope you have done the Police calls, cause if they did not tow it then report it stolen.
