Towing Issues: Getting car towed from covered parking space in CA?, santa monica ca, apartment rental

Question
Hi, I share an apartment rental in Santa Monica, CA; the same car has been in my parking space the last couple of nights I've come home... I left him a note, to be polite, but the car is still there. There is no sign saying cars will be towed etc, but each space is numbered by apartment. Can I get him towed, or do I have to get the landlord to do it?

According to the many California rules and regulations concerning towing vehicles from private property the property owner or managers are the ones who are allowed by law to authorize the removal of vehicles..

Sorry that you are having the problems but it is all up to them to order it..

There are also requirements for signs to be posted and even a requirement it has to sit for a certain amount of time in most cases...
