Towing Issues: car towed, handicap parking, paint lines

Question
QUESTION: Last night I parked my car where I always park I woke up to find out it had been towed the towing company says that I was parked half way over the line of an entrance way. Now this is how the parking spot is, it is in the corner next to a curb (left side) and there is a handicap parking spot to the right so I guess the entrance way they would be referring to would be where the wheel chair would be able to get on the sidewalk. When I called the tow company I asked if there was a picture that I could see and was told yes when I got there they told me that I had to contact there corp. office to get a copy of the picture. I took pic. of where I was parked and the white paint that is supposed to mark the spots is so faded you can only see about a foot of the line I live in an apartment complex in Orlando,FL so I just want to know do they have the right to tow or should I have got some kind of warning first

ANSWER: Well from what I seen in this question is really one where the definition of the handicapped parking and access area is..

Faded paint lines are problems and something that the property owner / management need to deal with...

But warnings, well are there signs up at the entrances to the complex, is there a sign for the handicapped parking area. Are these up and visible ?

That is just one of the keys in the answers here.
But getting a copy of the picture is also important, as it will establish the guilt or innocence of your parking...
Company policies to get copies from the main office, well I can not say much about that part, each place has different rules..

But generally, someone had to authorize the tow, or establish the rules for the tow company to remove vehicles which are illegally parked... Check with the property management and see what they say about the issue.  They might not even know it happened.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: this is a follow up to the question about the picture now that I have spoke with the towing company they said that they do not and are not required to show me any picture after I was already told that they would have a picture for me to view do you have any insight on this thank you in advance

Answer
I did some digging and talked to a few towers in Florida and they did tell me that they do not know of "A LAW" to provide a picture to the customer... Each of the people I talked to (5) told me that they now do the pictures for the court cases which are becoming more common after vehicles are towed..
