Towing Issues: Military deployed..car towed, snow removal, solider

I am stationed in New Jersey and my car was towed for snow removal. I am deployed at the moment, therefore I couldn't move it. Another thing is the registration is out of date because it wouldn't pass inspection. So basically, am i in any way protected from ridiculous towing charges while deployed.

Well as the the actual laws there, you do have some rights under the Solider and Sailor act.. Best advise it to check with the base legal officer...

As to having it towed, you can also check about having a notarized statement authorizing someone to pick up the vehicle...

The towing charges, well not sure what you can do about that...
