Towing Issues: Towing Capacity, ford econoline, chevrolet engine

Trying to find the towing capacity of my 1986 Ford Econoline E-150 Van with 350 V8 engine.  If you can let me know or direct me to a place to find the info it would be great

while this is going to be a bad answer for you, I can not truly answer this question..

First of all, you will find that most references do not go back past 2000 online..  

There are lots of variables, transmission, wheel base, and if it is one that is standard sized or extended... Window vans will be different also.

Now Ford offered the 300, 302, 351 and 460 in that era also.. A 350 is a Chevrolet engine..

As to finding the information you are looking for, you might have to call a dealer and see if they have the information available...  That or find a Ford Van club and they might have it also.
