QuestionHi, we want to buy a 2005 or 2006 Jeep Liberty 4x4 as a toad for our Motor home. But do not know if it can be towed on a dolly with just two wheels up. I think it can because everything I read says can be towed all four down. Do we have to do anything special to tow on dolly?
Dealers do no seem to know the answer to this and the manuel just tells you how to tow with all four down?

AnswerI am sorry but I have not got any answer on that. In our retail - commerical towing operations we make sure that on Jeeps all the wheels are off the ground.
However, what little that I know about RV's and towing vehicles behind them. I know that things are available which disconnect the drivetrain assembly. How they work I have no idea.
I would suggest that you do a search online for RV sites, and see about finding information on Dingy towing. Thats what I would do.
Jeeps are one of the things where I have found conflicting information about towing.
