Toyota Repair: Cluch shudder

Question
Hi Ted,
I replaced the cluch On my 97 Toyota 4runner. all new parts about 14 months ago. In the last day or two I get a lot of cluch shutter and vibration of gear shifter. This happens only when I reach 40 to 60 mph. If you have any questions please feel free. This problem is very weird  I have replaced cluchs before and no problems. Please help.
Thanks
Ron

Answer
The problem is not the clutch, if it shudders while changing gears right after releasing the clutch then yes, maybe. If the vibration is there without using the clutch then it's most likely a driveline issue, center drivehaft support bearing, U-joints or there may be something stuck to the driveshsft. If nothing visually turns up remove thr driveshaft and take it to a shop to have the balance checked and balanced. Check the U-Joints check for excessive plsy  or rusted bearing cups
