Toyota Repair: Steering wheel shaking, alignment shop, toyota camry

Question
My 2000 Toyota Camry has an accident in snow day.  The body on the driver side damages and replaced afterward.  The car is still drivable but every time when the speed reaches above 55-60 mph, the steel wheel shakes, which I feel quite strongly. However, the car runs quite smoothly in lower speed. Also, the car never had such problem before the accident. Can you let me know (1) what possibly causes the problem (2) Is it safe to drive the car in highway (3) recommended repair.  Thanks.

Answer
Susan,
This issue is impossible for me to evaluate without looking at the vehicle. The wheel could be bent, wheel weight fell off, or suspension damaged. Take the vehicle to an good repair or alignment shop immediately. (this is a good example why its very important to have a COMPETENT body shop repair damage on a vehicle)
