Toyota Repair: ignition key sticks 99 camry le v6, toyota camry, inexpensive answer

Question
The ignition key to my 99 toyota camry le has begun to stick in the ignition switch when I turn off the car and try to remove the key. This is happening with the original and two copies. The anti-theft action also appears to not be working. The steering wheel does not lock into place. Are the keys stripped? Is there an inexpensive answer? I'm about to go on a cross crountry trip with this car and want to know if I should take a different (and less comfortable) car. Help!

Answer
It may be that the original key is worn and if the copies were made by tracing the original key they will exhibit the same problems, do the keys work normally in the doors and the trunk? If so then the ignition lock cylinder is worn and needs to be replaced, if the keys are also difficult to use in all of the other locks then I would suggest that you have one new key made at the toyota dealer using the VIN#, the dealer can get the original key code and then make a key exactly like the original key.
