Toyota Repair: 2002 avalon cabin/ac filter, plastic retainers, phillips screw

Question
How do I remove the glove box, to get at the cabin/ac filter.
I tried to remove the 4 screws, and 1 bolt,airbag harness, but is still solid on upper right side of the glove box case.I cant seem to find a way to just remove the glove box,there are  2 plastic pins on bottom that may break, if i remove them.

Answer
The glove box can be pulled down enough to get the filter out, remove the phillips screw that connects what looks like a small shock absorber on the right then squeeze the sides of the glove box to make the plastic retainers go past the opening, otherwise push thos plastic pins on the bottom out and the glove box will come out all the way.
