Toyota Repair: slave cly, toyota pickup, slave cylinder

Question
I have a 93 toyota pickup 22re 4 cly sometimes the clutch petal stays to the floor sometimes not. fluid is full and no apparent leaks. How do i change the slave cly. and properly bleed the system.

Answer
It's more common for the master cylinder to have an internal problem, it's best to replace them both at the same time, after installing the new cylinders open the valve on the slave cylinder and fill the reservoir on the master cylinder, after fluid drips out of the slave cylinder close the valve and have someone pump the pedal until there is some pressure, open the valve, some air and fluid will come out, close the valve before releasing the brake pedal, repeat this until the pedal feels normal and the clutch releases.
