Toyota Repair: 89 Toyota Supra emergency brake, emergency brake lever, toyota supra

Question
Hello. I have a 89 toyota Supra. I accidentally pushed a quarter down under the emergency brake, and it is now lodged in under the emergency brake. I casn't even see it anymore. Since this has happened my emergency brake light is on, and stays on.I know the emergency brake lever is only up about 1 notch.
My question is can this ruin my brakes just by being up one notch? What can and will this do to my car? Will I have to take off the whole center console to resolve this problem?
My friend and I tried to take off the center console, but I think we were over looking some screws, because it would not come of.

             Thank-You,

Answer
The center console needs to be removed and the coin has to come out of there if you want the warning light to go off, being up only one notch won't do any damage to the brakes.
Check on the inside of the center console lid, there may be a piece of carpeting that is hiding two bolts or screws that attach the console.
