Toyota Repair: 1985 Camry LE lunges in 1st gear, clutch master cylinder, clutch pedal

Question
1985 Manual trans Camry: From a dead stop in first gear, when car is coming up to speed everything feels fine, then once clutch pedal is released fully and car is moving approx 5-10 mph the car begins to lunge and pause and lunge and pause radically, like someone learning how to drive a stick in a comedy show. Accelerating makes the car stop lunging. This doesnt occur when i start the car in motion in 2nd gear. The car runs in reverse without any problems. The engine is not sputtering. The idle speed seems ok and the engine idles smooth. Its had new wires/cap for a year. Problem is 2 months old. I notice that when I push or lean on the air tube to the throttle body or the filter the engine wants to stall, as tho its choked, but i dont think the engine mounts allow the engine torque to flex that tube as much as i did...
I changed the oil and battery 3 weeks ago. I replaced the clutch master cylinder last year.

Answer
The problem is the intake air tube between the throttle body and the air filter, look very closely for cracks, yes the engine mounts allow enough movement to open the cracks and the engine will get more air than it needs and this makes the computer try to make the mixture richer and then leaner this is why you get that cyclic lunging.
