Toyota Repair: Fuel Filter Replacement, haynes car manual, fuel filter replacement

Question
I have a 1990 Toyota Camry and I purged the excess press. from the fuel system and attempted to loosen the flare nuts on the fuel lines, but they don't seem to buge at all.  I used a penetrating oil to loosen the nuts, but to no avail.  I don't want to twist or damage the fuel lines.  I have a Haynes car manual, but it provides limited information. Any tips?

Answer
Unfortunately this is not an uncommon problem, you have two choices, either force the fitting off and hope the fuel line fitting doesn't strip the threads or leave it in place, if it is forced off there is a chance that the fuel line fitting threads are damaged and if so the fuel line from the filter to the rear will have to be replaced.
