Toyota Repair: brakes, rear brakes, rubber plugs

Question
I have an '02 Tacoma, 2 wheel drive.  I would like to know the procedure for adjusting the rear brakes.

Answer
You can do this without removing the rear wheels or drums, raise the rear end off the ground so that the wheels can rotate, on the backingplate on the top are oval shaped rubber plugs, remove them, inside is a ratcheting adjusting wheel, insert a short screwdriver and move the wheel upwards, if you are doing it right you will hear a clicking noise as you move the adjuster, do this while rotating the wheel until you feel a slight drag then stop.
