Toyota Repair: car turns over but wont start, toyota celica, electronic ignition

Question
I have an 89 Toyota Celica ST.  The engine will turn over but will not start.  I thought it might be the coil and I replaced it.  But the problem is that there is no spark going to the coil.  The timing belt was broken also but i had that repaired.  My sister's van recently had the same problem and I found the problem was an electronic ignition module.  My question is, does my car have an electronic ignition module, and if so, where is it located.  If not, what could the problem be.

Answer
Hello Ben, welcome to my expert page.
The most common problem on this model celica is the distributor, yes there is an igniter module, but I suspect the distributor, you should be able to get one from an aftermarket supplier, there are no seperate parts available for it so the whole thing has to be replaced.
