Tractor Repair: 2390 case, clutch friction, friction plates

Question
Hi thank you for your help. I do alot of my own mechanics split tractors,overhauls..... I'm not a expert though. I have a 2390 case the hydraulic sceen keeps plugging with a red fiber. Looks like peices from a clutch pack or brake pack or maybe the flex plate. Everthing works I take the tranny forks out and clean the sceen and have been waiting for something to stop working. Is there a way to tell where my problem is by the material i take out. It is small square red fiber pieces no metal or copper. I've cleaned it at least 6 times. Where should i start looking.

Answer
The only place that I ever see small square red pieces in these tractors is on the pto clutch friction plates.  The powershift clutch plates have a bronze metallic surface.  The brakes plates have a black fiber material on them.  The torque limiter friction material is sometimes dark grey and sometimes a reddish color, but does not have squares on it.  My guess is that the pto clutch friction material is coming off the plates, or there is debris still inside from a previous failure and it was not cleaned out when it was repaired.
