Tractor Repair: massey 240 solenoid, solenoid

i am replacing a solenoind on my massey ferguson 240. someone other than me took it off. Now i have the replacement part and I am unsure of exactly where the cables go. i have been unable to find any information that would elaborate on the correct placement of the cables. If u have any idea I would be grealty appreciative.

most solenoid's only need two wires and it normally doesn't matter which way they are connected if the solenoid has three pins on it (hershman plug type) ignore the odd shaped pin use the two identical pins for positive and negative.what is the solenoid for
