Triumph Repair: Spitfire 1500

Just seeking info on how to deal with doors which are too tight on my Spitfire. the gap is reasonably ok top and bottom but at about the curve in the body work it is far too tight for about out 5 cm.

Hi Padrig,

Is the gap too close at the front and the rear of the door? If so, you will need to adjust the hood (bonnet) to give the door room to be adjusted forward. If the gap is only too tight at rear you should be able to loosen the three bolts on each hing and move the door forward a little.
