QuestionI have a Vauxhall Astra 1.6 sxi, registered in Jan 2003 would this particular model hve a double overhead cam?

FYI as far as I know the sxi engines have timing chains, not belts in single cam form.
Some variants are dohc and may have belts.
look in the logbook for your engine and/or chassis numbers. phone vauxhall service dept and quote these numbers, they will tell you the exact engine setup you have.
