This is my first car and I just got ripped off by a guy who said he'd do some repair work, and vanish with my money.
Here are my questions:
The check light for the wiper fluid and brake lining keeps lighting up. Both are fine. Is that a sensor and how do I fix it?
The clock and temp read out stopped working suddenly, how do I fix that?
There is no light for the automatic gear shift, so at night it's hard to see if I'm in drive, reverse, etc. How do I fix that?
My interior map light doesn't have a bulb, do you know what type and where I can get one?
My antenna doesn't go up and down. I was told there's a piece of plastic in the motor gear. Will a Hirschmann POWER ANTENNA work to replace the mass and motor?
My rear power window is having a problem going up and down. What causes that, and how do I fix it?
The AC isn't blowing cold. The blower motor was replaced and the original(not environment approved) type of freon was put in prior to a new catalytic converter being installed. Does one thing have to do with the other? I was told the old freon was bled out of the system and replaced, and if I run the AC and clear out whatever is left, after a while the system will blow cold. This info was from the rip off guy.
Do you think I can do this work if I get the Bentley BMW 3 series Service Manual?
AnswerWay too many questions. The bentley will answer a lot of them.
I can say that the AC will not get better by itself.
Hirschmann will fix the ant. If your old motor still runs you can get replacement masts for it.
I may have a used ant if you want to go with it.
