UK Car Repair: My Mg 1975 Midget Wont turn over, clutch, there some kind

Question
Last week My midget (that I have owned for a little under a month ) was
turned off by me and then when I went to re start it  the car would not turn
over. I had the battery jumped... nothing happened. My father popped the
clutch for me and everything was then okay. I went and had the battery
tested and its in really good condition. Yesterday though, I went to leave the
house, and it was dead again. I live near a hill so I went to pop the clutch and
get it going... unfortunetley everytime i tried it seemed to lock up on the back
left tire.  Can you tell me what I could do? or what is wrong?

Answer
First, when you roll start it put it in 2nd or 3rd gear going downhill as in 1st you will be going to fast and the wheel will lock up. You need to find out if the battery will not hold a charge or is there some kind of draw. Get it charged then disconnect it for the night then see if it turns the starter the next day, if it doesn't, the battery is bad. If it does there is a draw from something, int lights/radio etc.
