UK Car Repair: Front panels, inner arch, wheel arch

Question
Hello Paul !!  I have recently bought a 1990 xj6 and there are a couple of things wrong I would like to put right to make the car complete.
I was attempting to replace the nearside repeater indicator bulb and inadvertantly pushed to hard and it dropped through the panel and now I dont know how to retreive it.
Also below the window washer container there is a leak and I dont know how to access underneath this as it is panelled in like behind the repeater bulb holder. Can you help please.
Regards,
Martyn

Answer
Okay Martyn, I am not too sure how to do this but I do know on later models the wheel arch liner is removable (usually a few screws and bolts) and provides access to the inner arch. If you cannot remove the arch liner try looking underneath or in the engine compartment and if all else fails try fishing out the repeater with a coathanger - I am sorry I could not be more helpful - let me know how it goes - Paul
