UK Car Repair: Vauxhall Combo 1997 van mot prices, flex hoses, vauxhall combo

Hi my van has failed its mot ,the price for fixing it is £250 thats for replacing 4 brake pipes and a track rod end.Could you tell me if the price is ok or not Thanks

Honestly Neil that sound a bit pricey (flex-hoses or copper brake lines?) I would say you could get the work done for closer to the £180 to £200 mark ,I would advise shopping around and getting a few quotes. ell the garages that you are shopping around and you will be surprised how competitive the prices get. - Paul
