Volvo Repair: Car just turns off, throtle body, rpm

Question
I drive a 1999 S70 when i turn the air on and come to a stop sometimes just from turning the car RPM lower and the car turns off... if i start the car and then turn on their in any gear, the car shakes a bit and then turns off ...

what could this possibly be..

Nelson, This may be the electronic Throtle body.  There is a recall on this part.  Make an appointment with the Dealer and have them check it out.  It will be replaced for free. If that isnt it, then it sounds like the airmass meter.  They would have to scan it.  The check engine light is probably lit also.  If not it will be stored in the cars computer.   Roger
