Volvo Repair: Overdrive, fuel pump relay, electronic gear

Question
Can you tell me where the Overdrive Relay is located on a 1992 740 Turbo? We cannot find it in the manual. (It goes into overdrive whenever it feels like it, and stays there for as long as it feels like it. The button will not turn it off.)

Hi Sandie,
          I think the fuel pump relay is located behind the ashtray within a groupe of other relays and electronic gear...the FPR is white and larger than most relays..the cluster that holds all of these items is removeable to the extent that you can lift it up and bring it into your working space...to check things out...there are a few hold down clips that need to be unclicked...you'll see.
