Volvo Repair: 1997 960 - dirver seat problems & acceleration issue, pressure checks, seat motor

Question
1997 960 Wagon 94K. Recently, the power seat (drivers) quit working. When you attempt to move the seat forward/backward only the left side attempts to move. Do I have something stuck in the right track? Remove the seat and inspect/clean? Right now, it is stuck all the way forward.

Also, periodically, I get a strange sputtering/hesitation when I start from a stop. Once I get moving it is fine. Someone said it could be one of the coils (one per plug?). The odd thing is for no reason it will go away (short maybe?). I am certain you need other details, please let me know.

As always, thank you very much for your assistance.

Answer
well as to the seat problem. you have a cable that pulled out of one of the sides of the motor for your lower seat motor this is a  rather difficult job to do.

speaking to your hesitaion, i am really uncertain. but i would start with fuel pressure checks.
