Answer
Derrick,
I'm a few years older (24 to be exact), and I've been in your shoes.
There are a few sources for manifolds you can use.  BMW made a Turbo Diesel in the 5-series (524td).  You can search Ebay for this turbo exhaust manifold and use it.  It's not the best design, but I know it has worked for some people.

The best option is a header design made by a European company (Swedish I think).  But they are VERY expensive and have a long waiting list.  They also make a Turbo Adapter.  You drop your exhaust (leave your manifolds on) this adapter connects to your existing manifolds and puts the turbo int he correct position.

For E30's that are Turbocharged, there is one website that you should check out.

 www.e30tech.net

There is a guy who is making 300+hp out of a STOCK engine just turbocharged.

 Good luck,
 Josh
