BMW: Bleed the air from Radiotor, coolant tank, coolant

Question
I forgot to ask you josh how do you bleed air out from the Coolant Radiotor on 89 525i....please be specific..thanks 4 your time....

Answer
Like I said in the other email, Just fill the coolant tank to the designated level, and then start the engine.  Turn the heat on FULL to allow coolant to circulate through the heater core.  Once coolant is circulating, open the black screw beside the coolant cap to bleed any air.  There is also a screw on top of the thermostat housing that is a bleed screw.  Open both of these, and watch the coolant flow out of them.  You should see bubbles, and when they stop, you should be done.  Like I said previously, you can idle the engine up to 2k rpm to help flush any bubbles out.

 Hope this helps,
 Josh
