Buick/Olds: SQUELING BELT, tensioner pulley, cutless

I HAVE REPLASED THE BELTS ALT,BATTERY AND CANT GET THE BELT TO STOP SCREAMING /86 CUTLESS?

On a 80's V6 or V8, you'll need to make sure that you have lots of tension on the belt, this is the most important part of installing it. There are usually a couple of places on the engine where you can tighten it. If your car has a tensioner pulley, then you can loosen the nut and pull more tension on the belt, or, you can loosen the nut on the alternator and tighten the belt up. It may 2 people to it though.
