Cadillac: Cleaning Leather, latex paint, paint remover

Question
Hello

I must have had dirt on my back when I sat in my car because there are spackles of black on the back of my leather seat in my '98 Eldorado. I tried to remove them with warm water and a little bit of windex but no luck. It looks like little specs of dirt but nothing is coming off. What is the best way to remove this?

Thanks so much

Answer
Hi Tom

This is a tough one and really comes down to cleaning any leather surface properly. What has personally worked for me is a product called:
Goof Off 2®
The ultimate water-based dried paint remover. Strong enough to remove dried latex paint but without the harsh chemicals. Safe for use on most plastics and fabrics. Available in two pump spray sizes; 6 oz. and 22 oz.  (you can buy at Lowes, Home Depot etc)

Do not use the orig Goof Off as that is too strong use the 2. After ues a leather conditioner on the surface to protect it again

This should work!
